Contaminated Sites

Australian Enviro Services (AES) recognise that every contaminated site has its own unique challenges and issues that may initially appear complex and daunting. These issues need to be correctly addressed within a framework of Local, State and Commonwealth legislative requirements. AES believes it is important to attain a clear understanding of our clients’ needs and expectations prior to tailoring technical solutions that deliver positive outcomes whilst complying with all legislative requirements.

The remediation of contaminated sites often entails subsurface excavations that regularly involve processes that are never completely understood until excavation works commence. AES’ technical approach to remediating contaminated sites is threefold. Our approach involves:

1. Examining all available information to determine what issues have been identified.
2.Viewing this information in light of historical land uses and experiences gained from remediating previous contaminated sites.
3. Proposing the most cost effective means to achieve your agreed outcomes and minimise your environmental risks.

AES will then dedicate a project manager, experienced in delivering difficult remediation projects, to manage the delivery of the works by using innovative approaches, advanced remediation technology (when appropriate) and efficient service delivery methods. Our project manager will employ ‘best practice’ approaches that will ensure the minimum amount of waste is disposed offsite whilst maximising the amount of material that is retained onsite.
